According to a recent communication, the US publisher secured the services of the industry veteran Marcus Lehto, who made a name in the past, especially as one of the creative minds behind the successful Halo series.
As Electronic Arts and Marcus Lehto announced, the two parties in the Seattle region will build a new studio. Apart from the fact that the studio will focus on first-person experiences where Lehto clothes the post of Game Director, but so far no concrete details have been mentioned. Since the studio is still under construction, appropriate announcements should certainly have to be kept in a while.
Lehto failed last with a separate studio
Lehto was hired from 1997 to 2011 at Bungie and worked there on projects such as Myth: The Fallen Lords , Halo: Combat Evolved , Halo 2 , Halo 3 , Halo 3: Odst and Halo: Reach . He then decided to face new creative challenges and leave bungie to build a separate studio. This does the name V1 Interactive and published the shooter Disintegration last year.
